Module 2 – Developmental Roots and Neurobiology
Fear without solution; the role of early caregiving and the nervous system.
Describe key neurobiological processes (Polyvagal Theory, limbic dysregulation).
Interactive diagram; short reflection: “How do I recognise early fear states in clients?”
Module 3 – Manifestations in Adult Life
The ten life domains of impact.
Identify adult behaviours and relational cycles that signal disorganization.
Case vignette analysis (quiz or group discussion board).
Module 4 – Emotional Regulation and the Therapeutic Relationship
The fragmented self; therapist as co-regulator.
Apply regulation techniques and pacing strategies; recognise rupture–repair dynamics.
Role-play or guided video; workbook exercise (Chapter 4 & 6).
Module 5 – Reparenting and Movement Toward Security
Self-compassion, corrective experience, earned security.
Facilitate reparenting dialogue; support secure relating.
